Women in Cement Audit
In our industry, we constantly look for ways to optimise heat and mass balance. But we sometimes overlook that the most critical variable for success is the team operating the plant. To reach the maximum potential of a process, we need to tap into the maximum potential of our human resources.
Our recent audit at the SecilĀ OutĆ£o plant was a powerful reminder of this. Beyond the technical data, it was genuinely inspiring to see the strong presence of women engineers driving the operations. š·āāļø
It wasnāt just about "diversity" on paper - it was about seeing high-level competence in action. The collaboration was seamless, and the results spoke for themselves.
Seda BaÅtaÅ, Process Engineer at aixprocess GmbH, put it perfectly: "It is motivating to be in an environment where contributions are valued and celebrated."
Seeing this culture alive at SecilĀ resonates deeply with us. When engineers are empowered to lead based on their skills - regardless of gender - the whole project gains momentum. Competence has no gender. And leveraging the full spectrum of talent is the best way to secure the industry's future. š
Thank you to the team at Secil Outão for the warm welcome and the professional exchange! In particular, we would like to thank Ana Paula Costa, Inês HilÔrio, Camila Nicolau Dotta, Catarina Marcelo, Maria Madalena Zambujeiro for their constructive collaboration throughout the audit.
